I am an LA-based interior designer and a real estate investor, so I deal with real estate agents several times a year, all over SoCal. Some are better than others..but Jim is the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He spent a few weeks sending me listings via email, asking for feedback on each, in order to get a sense of what I liked before we spent time looking. I was unfamiliar with the Santa Ynez valley so the first trip was dedicated to a thorough tour of the various towns in the valley and discussion on the personalities of each. With resources like Redfin and Zillow, it makes "shopping" easier for people who are looking. But what is rarely easy is the process between finding the home and closing on it. This is where Jim and his support team excel. He provided excellent guidance in the negotiation process, and was patient and calm in the face of the fallout from a fairly rocky and stressful inspection. Documents were passed swiftly and correctly, and he was able to develop a rapport with the seller's broker that made the process very collaborative and smooth. Lastly, Jim has provided ongoing support since the transaction has completed. He has passed me recommendations for service providers and, since I am still in LA, has even met with them on my behalf. All in all, the best of experiences.
