September: A Change in Pace
One of the things we love about Santa Barbara is how so many of the things that make this place special are woven into the community itself. Last Saturday, we were part of the Santa Barbara Triathlon—not just cheering from the sidelines, but actually racing. It’s such an awesome community event and, to me, a perfect expression of the Santa Barbara lifestyle: active, outdoors, welcoming, and just a little bit laid-back.
It was also a fitting way to close out another beautiful summer. As September arrives, the pace begins to shift. The days are still warm, the evenings start to cool, and there’s a subtle feeling that we’re moving into a new chapter of the year.
For me, September is a reminder of just how fortunate we are to call this place home. Whether it’s getting out for a morning at the beach, spending an afternoon in the Valley, or simply enjoying a beautiful evening outside, there’s something pretty special about the way life feels here.
And as we head into fall, the real estate market is shifting too. There are always opportunities worth paying attention to, whether you’re thinking about making a move or simply curious about what’s happening around you. As always, I’m happy to be a resource.
