August: The Golden Hour of Summer

Jim Callahan

Make golden hour Last

There’s a specific warmth to August. The long, amber sunsets, the slower evenings, and the desire to make the good times last (like those special nights at the Santa Barbara Bowl in the photo above). It always makes us look at our homes a little differently. We start noticing where the evening light hits, where we wish we had a bigger deck for entertaining, or how nice it would be to have a dedicated space to unwind.

A home should be more than just a place to store your things—it should be where your best days happen. Whether that’s a light-filled space that welcomes the morning sun or a backyard made for gathering with family and friends, I’m here to help you find a home that fits the way you want to live.

Whether you’re thinking about buying, selling, or simply curious about today’s market, I’d love to talk about your goals and how I can help.
